AI booking for your business
Let customers book online. Connect a compatible AI assistant to check availability and help manage your bookings.
A compatible AI app is required. Support, plan eligibility and costs vary. Screens show fictional examples.
Guests still book themselves.
The customer-facing booking link stays a plain web page: a guest picks a service and a free slot, and the booking lands in the same calendar the assistant reads. No AI conversation is needed to book, and a confirmed booking is not a paid one.
One shareable booking link listing your services; guests need no account
Live availability that already accounts for duration and opening hours
New bookings confirmed automatically by default, then handled in your agenda
On-site payment recorded by you, in cash or by local transfer
Online payment is optional where Stripe Connect is available; Stripe may charge its own transaction fees
Ask your assistant about bookings.
Connect Booking Lite to a compatible AI app you trust. Your assistant can look up bookings, availability and existing customer records within the access you grant. Available tools depend on the app, your plan and member permissions.
Summarise next week’s bookings for one service.
Find Sam Taylor’s next appointment and its duration.
Show which slots are still free on 18 November.
Move Sam’s booking to Thursday at 3 pm.
Illustrative prompts. Changing a booking requires granted write access; available tools depend on your app, plan and permissions.
Choose what AI can do.
A view connection can read bookings and existing customer records. A manage connection can request booking-write access. The owner or administrator can deselect writes at consent, and plan or member permissions may restrict tools further. We recommend starting with view access.
View only
Read bookings and existing customer records. Nothing on the calendar or in a booking status changes.
Manage bookings
Create, confirm, reschedule, complete, mark no-show or cancel. These are real changes, not drafts waiting for you.
Connect your assistant.
An MCP URL is added to the AI app; it is not opened as a web page. Only an active owner or administrator of the Booking Lite workspace can approve the connection.
Copy the setup prompt
In Booking Lite, open Settings → AI assistants and copy the prompt into the assistant you trust.
Add the remote MCP server
Choose the view connection for read-only access. If using the manage connection, review the requested permissions and deselect booking writes if you do not need them.
Approve as owner or admin
Sign in, select the workspace, review the application, callback address and requested permissions, then approve or deny. Never paste a password, one-time code or key into a chat.
Verify the connection
Ask your assistant for an authorised read to check the workspace and available tools. Scope, plan or member permissions can restrict what appears.
Revoke when you are done
Remove the grant under Signed-in AI apps, or revoke the connection key on the same screen. View and manage grants are separate.
Add more when you need it.
FavCRM also offers broader booking, membership and venue features. Availability of time-slot pricing, coupons, packages and QR check-in depends on the plan and configuration; confirm what is included in Booking Lite.
Frequently asked questions
Will the AI answer my customers on WhatsApp or the phone?
This connection is for the business owner’s external AI assistant; it is not a customer-facing WhatsApp or phone receptionist. Customers can book themselves through your booking link. Ask us about other FavCRM workflows.
Does every change need a person to approve it?
No. The MCP guide tells an assistant to confirm before a write, but that is guidance, not a server-enforced approval step. Once booking-write access is granted, a change can be applied without a second FavCRM approval. Your AI host may ask for confirmation; that is the host’s behaviour.
What does view access allow?
The view resource covers booking reads and contact reads. The consent screen may grant less, and the workspace plan and member permissions can restrict the tools further.
Can it cancel a booking or issue a refund?
If booking-write access is granted and the cancellation tool is available, it can cancel. Cancelling a paid booking can initiate a refund. Check your refund rules before connecting.
Which AI apps work?
You need a compatible remote MCP app using Streamable HTTP and OAuth. Booking Lite may also offer a connection key for clients that support a custom bearer header. Support varies by app and plan; check your setup first.
Is the AI included in my Booking Lite plan?
This connection uses a compatible external assistant. Available tools depend on your workspace plan and member permissions; connection limits can vary and the AI provider may charge separately.
Can it book a customer who has never visited?
A booking created through the current AI tool requires an existing customer record. New guests can book themselves through the separate customer booking page.
