FEATURE / WHATSAPP FOLLOW-UP

WhatsApp follow-up

The customer asks on WhatsApp, and staff see their booking, package and unpaid balance in the same screen.

FavCRM connects WhatsApp conversations to customer records. The team shares one inbox, and beside every thread sits that customer’s bookings, package balance and payment status. Outbound messages send through the official API using approved templates, and anything that touches a customer or money waits for a person to approve it.

01

The record sits beside the conversation

Staff answer without opening a second system or working from memory.

  • Bookings, package balance and unpaid amounts in the same view
  • Past spend and notes visible at a glance
  • New enquiries create or match a record automatically
02

One number, whole team

Several people work the same inbox without colliding or dropping threads.

  • Assign and claim conversations
  • Unanswered threads become follow-up
  • Handovers keep the context
03

Template sending on the official API

Reminders, confirmations and renewals go out as approved templates rather than typed by hand.

  • Templates managed by category with version history
  • Send by customer segment, not the whole list
  • Delivery visible per message
04

Important actions need approval

AI can draft. It cannot send.

  • Outbound messages, discounts and refunds require sign-off
  • Who changed what, and when, in an audit trail
  • Permissions set by role

How it works

From one enquiry to a closed follow-up.

  1. 01

    Customer messages

The thread lands in the shared inbox and matches to a customer record.

  2. 02

    Answer in context

Staff see bookings, packages and balances beside the conversation.

  3. 03

    AI drafts the follow-up

Based on the record — a reminder, a renewal, a next step.

  4. 04

    Approved, then sent

Anything that matters is signed off, sent by official API, and logged.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the WhatsApp Business app?

The app is one account on one phone, answered by hand. FavCRM runs on the official API with a shared team inbox, conversations tied to customer records, and approved templates that can send automatically. The full comparison is in the WhatsApp Business API guide.

Do we need a new number?

You can keep an existing number, but once it connects to the API it can no longer be used in the WhatsApp Business app. Most businesses move to a dedicated business number.

Will AI reply to customers on its own?

No. AI drafts only. Outbound messages, discounts and refunds all wait for a person to approve, and every step is logged.

How are message fees charged?

Meta charges per delivered template message, while replies inside the customer service window are free. Amounts and categories are covered in the WhatsApp Business API guide.
